Skin health

Temperatures persisting at 100 degrees F. and quite humid. Heat is enervating.
Sun is healthy for skin, but not sunburn. I like to use zinc oxide (order a pound from the pharmacist for about $15) and lanolin or coconut butter or glycerin or any fat and make a cream. (I would avoid all soy and canola and corn and other GMO's.) I would add any fresh ground fruit or vegetable with yellow or orange or red flesh, such as carrot, beet, orange, mango, avocado, watermelon, squash, pineapple.
This is also a good deodorant, and is also a good hair conditioner.

Birds in June, 2010

Ides of June. Hot. Humid. But still beautiful here next to the beach. We have rabbits, squirrels, and lots of pretty birds, such as red-headed woodpeckers, cardinals, blue jays, doves, wrens, finches and the like.
Seems that the earth's magnetic shield is dissolving and will flip soon according to a Netflix movie "Magnetic Storm: Nova". North will become South. Fascinating.

Winter

Last week we got lots of snow - looks to me like about fourteen inches. I love snow in the winter. Joseph Andrew Stack piloted his plane into an IRS building and died, seems he was just that frustrated with his tax situation. He said that communism is from each according to ability and to each according to need. He contrasted capitalism saying that capitalism is from each according to gullibility and to each according to greed. I thought that clever.
